The Summer markets are back in 2024

The Huntingdon Farmer’s Market Board is proud to launch its 19th season of summer markets in Huntingdon.

It is with pleasure that we invite you to come and discover the summer markets every Wednesday from May 15 to October 16 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Prince-Arthur Park, in Huntingdon. At the market this year, we are pleased to offer a selection of fresh, quality produce each week, including vegetables, breads, pastries, meats, cider and wine, as well as artisan products.

During the official opening of the summer markets on May 15, you will be able to talk to more than 18 producers and artisans who will introduce you to their products.

Sunday November 17th 2024 – Saint-Stanislas-de-Kostka Christmas Market

The Huntingdon Farmer’s Market will be back in Saint-Stanislas-de-Kostka on November 17th at the SocioCulturel Center located at 221 Central Street à Saint-Stanislas-de-Kostka!

On Sunday November 17th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. the Christmas Market will bring together friends and family to rediscover the great producers and artisans of the Haut-Saint-Laurent and surrounding area. The flavours and varieties that the Valley has to offer to this community are unique. From fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, to fine chocolates, wines, ciders, and local beers, as well as woodworking, soaps, candles and plenty of baked goods and preserves.

Sunday December 1st 2024 – Ormstown Christmas Market

On December 1st, 2024 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. the Ormstown Christmas Market will take place at the Ormstown Rec Center located at 87 Roy Street.

It will bring together friends and family to rediscover the great producers and artisans of the Haut-Saint-Laurent and surrounding area. The flavours and varieties that the Valley has to offer to this community are unique. From fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, to fine chocolates, wines, ciders, and local beers, as well as woodworking, soaps, candles and plenty of baked goods and preserves.

May 9, 2024 – Farmer’s Market AGM

The Farmers’ Market is holding its AGM on Thursday, May 9 2024, and you’re invited.

The annual general meeting is a democratic process where members can vote on various aspects of governance, but it’s also a time to discover great new ideas for the themes and the weekly activities of the upcoming the summer markets (starting May 15th)!

It’s a reflection of the participatory approach of the Farmer’s Market, which is first and foremost a meeting place for local producers and local people. It’s therefore fitting that farmers, artisans, and citizens of all kinds should have the opportunity to participate in the programming.

Two producer positions and one citizen position will be up for election to the Board of administrators.
